Our excellent, experienced staff is committed to building strong communities and promoting student involvement. We house nearly 4000 students with a Residence Hall Director leading each of our thirteen residence halls. Our Resident Assistant staff size ranges from two to eighteen, with an average of 32 residents for each RA. With a strong commitment to student involvement in decision-making, students are involved in nearly every aspect of our department as well. FULL-TIME RESIDENCE HALL DIRECTOR INFORMATION
Your dynamic role on campus
RHDs are responsible for developing and maintaining a living environment and community within the residence hall in which the maximum educational, social and cultural values of the residents and staff will be realized, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness will be demonstrated. RHDs will assist in the effective management and maintenance of the area so the needs of both the students and the University are met. This position is a live-in position with an appointment as a member of the Academic Staff and is a Campus Security Authority. This is a fixed term, 12 month position. A Bachelor's degree is required.
GRADUATE ASSISTANT POSITIONS
Joining your education with practical experience.
Graduate Hall Directors and Assistant Hall Directors work with RHDs to develop and maintain a living environment and community within the residence hall in which the maximum educational, social and cultural values of the residents and staff will be realized, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness will be demonstrated. This position is a live-in position with an appointment as a member of the Academic Staff and is a Campus Security Authority. This is an academic year position with options for summer employment. A Bachelor's degree is required.
